After the organs have been transplanted from the body, they are separated from body tissue and fat.

Within 24 hours the organs have to be transplanted to the receiver.

The transplantation operation takes 6-7 hours and is reminiscent of an ordinary major surgical operation.


Afterwards the body is stitched together.
